A district tried getting laptops in the classroom for every student but the budget wasnt so helpful, so they made up a plan that maybe everychild can bring their own laptop or itouch, cell phone ect. to school. They planned and tried to figure out if it may work but they figured out that the teacher may send out an attachment and some may not have the programs which would lead to not being able to open it. I believe that having the students bring their devices to use in the classroom would not help because the student can easily get distracted and surf the internet, or start texting, or play games, something other than doing their work. I would like to learn that providing every student with a laptop would help, if that would be better for the child to learn if they block a lot of the internet websites in the campus so they wont get off task and just stay focus on what the teacher is teaching.
